The Diaz-Caneja foundation museum shows the legacy of Juan Manuel Diaz-Caneja, a local painter that was born in 1905. he died in 1988.
The museum was inagurated in july 1995. Tt was created to hold the artistic collection, the documents and the library of the painter. There are almost one hundred and fifty artworks in the museum.
As well as showing Diaz-Caneja’s works, there are two rooms dedicated to show different works from local artists.
Diaz-Caneja was considered a postcubist. he loved to paint landscapes and still lifes.
His work was recognized with many prizes:

- In 1954, he won the third medal in the National Fine Arts Exhibition.
- In 1958, he won the National Painting Prize.
- In 1960, he won the first medal in the National Fine Arts Exhibition.
- In 1980, he won the National Prize for fine arts.
- In 1984, he received the fine arts gold medal from Castilla y Leon.
