PUENTECILLAS - AUDIO GUIDE
AUDIO GUIDE TRANSCRIPTION
Puentecillas is the oldest bridge in town. It was built by the Romans, but it has suffered so many modifications, that now it is in Gothic style.
Nowadays, Puentecillas has six stone arches.
In the year 1977, a big stone was set at the beginning of the bridge. This stone was known as the “Resignation Stone”, because it was the place where the laundresses and woodcutters, that worked in the river, rested.
