GARDENS BY THE TRAIN STATION - AUDIO GUIDE
AUDIO GUIDE TRANSCRIPTION
At the end of the XIX century the Town hall built a new train station, the north train station. To beautify the new train station, the Town hall created a garden next to it. This garden was called “Jardinillos de la Estación, but people usually refer to them as “Jardinillos”.
Over time, the Town hall added different elements, like “El Palomar” (”The Dovecote”) in 1925, and a waterfall, a channel and an amphitheater in 1980.
During the second republic, people went there to watch outdoor movies.
Jardinillos has a surface of about 23.400 square meters.
